1. Publisher and development status
ILARON – Orthodox Daily Life is provided by OakDev & AI AB. Send questions, bug reports and complaints to hello@oakdev.app. This website describes the app and links to its web version; it sells no subscriptions or products and contains no payment forms.
Postal contact: OakDev & AI AB, Kristevik 633, 451 96 Uddevalla, Sweden. Email: hello@oakdev.app.
The mobile app is in internal testing. Android and iOS must not be understood as publicly launched store products. Features may change or be unavailable during development. No public launch date is promised. These terms never override mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
2. What ILARON is for
The app brings together prayers, Bible reading with Swedish 1917 and the World English Bible, a quiet prayer routine and a core selection from the church year. Five themes and ten skins offer cosmetic personalisation. Some options may require Reflections to unlock. Availability can differ between web, offline preview and mobile test build.
ILARON represents no Orthodox church and claims no ecclesiastical or clerical endorsement. It does not replace liturgical life, sacraments or a conversation with your priest. Its calendar is a guide, not a complete parish calendar or local lectionary. Traditions, jurisdictions and calendar practices differ; follow your parish’s guidance.
3. Accounts, guests and local information
You can explore local functions offline. Online functions may require a Firebase account, including when you choose an anonymous guest. Use only credentials you own or are authorised to use, and protect your account and device. We never request your password by email.
A guest identity can be difficult to recover after clearing storage or changing devices. Use available account-linking options if you want a recoverable identity. Private notes, bookmarks and prayer favourites are local, without a promised cloud backup. Save anything you need before clearing data.
4. Reflections and optional test ads
Reflections are personal digital app currency for app features and cosmetic items. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or redeemed for money. The offline preview’s test wallet is completely separate from the account’s server-verified wallet.
Prayers and available Bible text do not require ad viewing. If you choose a rewarded ad, the conditions are shown first. The current mobile test uses test ads. The server verifies rewards; a lost connection or invalid or replayed ad event does not entitle you to duplicate rewards. Report errors instead of bypassing checks. Advertising choices do not provide consent to cloud storage of religious information.
5. Wisdom is switched off
The AI Wisdom feature is switched off until further notice. We do not offer an active AI adviser or promise that a future AI feature will become available. Before any activation, functionality, Reflections cost, data sharing, risks and necessary choices must be clearly described.
App content and any future AI reflections are not medical, psychological, legal or emergency advice. They must not replace professional assistance or individual pastoral guidance. In immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service; in Sweden and across the EU the emergency number is 112.
6. Acceptable use and content
Use the service respectfully and lawfully. Do not access another person’s account without authority, manipulate wallets or ads, bypass security, automate abuse or disrupt operation. We may restrict access where necessary for security or abuse handling; contact us if you believe a mistake occurred.
Bible editions and sources are identified in the app. Original artwork, design and editorial content are protected by applicable rights. Personal use does not grant permission to sell or republish the whole app or its original material. Your own notes remain yours. These terms do not expand rights in third-party content.
7. Errors, changes and your rights
We want the app to work well but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, completeness or error-free operation in a test release. Report problems with a short description and version, without sensitive notes. We may correct errors, update content and change the service. Material changes will be clear and require renewed acceptance where necessary.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Swedish law is the starting point, subject to mandatory protections applicable to you. Please contact us first about disputes; your right to approach a competent authority or court remains.
8. Ending your use
You may stop using the service whenever you choose. To delete an account, open Settings, scroll to the bottom, select Delete my account, type ILARON and confirm. Read the deletion guide for local data and minimal security records. If you cannot open the app, email hello@oakdev.app from the account’s email address. Uninstalling alone does not delete the server account.
9. Age and parent or guardian involvement
Our audience is people aged 13 and over, including adults. The app is not intended for children under 13. If you are a minor, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission where required for use, a contract, or consent. Our 13+ product policy does not replace the country’s rules on valid consent or legal capacity.
The app has no built-in age verification or dedicated parental-consent flow; the current internal mobile test includes only one adult owner account. Contact hello@oakdev.app if you need help or believe we have received personal data from a child under 13.
